Hello Practically Perfect Friends,
About a year ago, Dr. Pluchino gave us this blog What Should My Baby Be Doing and When? Since then, we've helped dozens of families navigate these challenges. Our practice's parents frequently have questions whether this is their first time raising a baby, they have multiple kiddos or maybe there is an age gap and they just don't remember when baby is supposed to be doing what.

The other question/ concern that we hear parents struggle with is the transition to solid foods. They don't know when to start, how to navigate textures and allergies and usually afraid of choking. These are all valid concerns that can be alleviated by a therapist trained in these areas.
Developmental milestones are windows of time when babies should do something specific. For example, most babies start rolling around 3 - 6 months. Most babies are ready to eat solids around 6 - 8 months of age. Every baby learns and develops and reaches these milestones at different times and sometimes they need help.
Practically Perfect offers two online classes to help parents through these areas. These are learn at your own pace workshops that are in small, easy to digest portions for learning between a parent's busy activities.
The first workshop we offer online is Baby's Practically Perfect First Year. This class goes through milestones in infancy through the first year of development to set children up for a lifetime of successful movement.
The second class we're excited to offer is Practically Perfect's Introduction to Solids. This class goes through what solid foods can be offered to baby, knowing when it is time to introduce them, how to do the introduction and how to work on your baby's oral motor skills!
Both classes are 50% off for the remainder of our birthday month if you use the code BIRTHDAY. We hope to help your family with your baby in their first year!
Keep in mind, Dr. Mora also does pediatric therapy which includes feeding consultations for children 12 months and under including latch/ breastfeeding issues and picky eating with introduction to solids! This is a service covered by most insurance plans!
