Dreaming of Madrid? Here’s a Sneak Peek of My Trip

Hey ,

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I traveled to Madrid, Spain earlier this month. It wasn't a momcation though. I actually met my husband there while he was wrapping up a work trip.

Listen, if Madrid isn’t already on your travel bucket list, it should be! Recently, I had the chance to explore this beautiful city, and from incredible food to stunning sights, Madrid has something for everyone.

Check out the below itinerary to make planning your own adventure effortless.

Here’s a glimpse of my first few days:

Thursday Highlights

  • Arrival: After settling in, I kicked off the trip with an early seafood dinner at Parrilla el Barril, known for its fresh and flavorful Spanish dishes.
  • Drinks at Devil’s and a stop at Pasion, a sophisticated cigar bar, set the tone for the evening.
  • Wrapped up the night with a sushi roll and a nightcap at Kyoshi, a hidden gem for Japanese cuisine in Madrid.

Friday Highlights

  • Started the day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to a photoshoot with @dorian.ph (because capturing memories is a must!).
  • Took a fun TukTuk riding tour, the perfect way to explore Madrid’s streets and architecture.
  • Lunch at San Miguel Market, a historical spot since 1916, where I indulged in oysters, cava, wagyu, lobster rolls, and more. (Pro tip: Pair your oysters with cava for the ultimate experience!)

  • Satisfied my sweet tooth with churros and chocolate from Los Nuevos Alpes on Calle Mayor—churros have been a Madrid specialty for centuries.

  • After a quick hotel nap, I enjoyed dinner at Ramses, a chic spot known for its modern Spanish cuisine.
  • Closed out the night at Inclán Brutal Bar, where the themed cocktails are as unforgettable as the vibes.

Saturday Highlights

  • Kicked off the day with a workout (balance is everything, right?).
  • Followed by a complimentary breakfast buffet and mimosas at the DoubleTree Madrid, a perfect way to fuel up before more adventures.
