We're back with our penultimate batch of additions to the Resource Bank - and it's a mega batch with 21 new games and resources for you to use with your students!

Weird Jobs
At Panjango, we pride ourselves on introducing young people to as many career options as possible - including the most weird and wonderful ones!
So to introduce students to some of the more obscure jobs in the world of work, we’ve created two ‘weird jobs’ resources.
These resources challenge students to guess the weird jobs from visual prompts and then pitch those jobs against each other to determine which they think is the weirdest!
We’ve created a standard version along with a medical edition that looks at some of the more obscure jobs specifically in the Health and Social Care sector.
This is perfect to use as a class game to bring home the underlying message that they really can be anything they want to be! - no matter how weird or wonderful the student's career aspirations may be!

Current and Future Jobs
We've added another three jobs to the folder with Navy Officer, Translator and Sport Scientist all making their debut. This takes the collection of Current Jobs resources to 80!
These resources are perfect for achieving Gatsby Benchmark 4. They link careers to the curriculum in an innovative and fun way and contextualise core learning by highlighting possible future applications of core subjects in the world of work.
Remember we also have five Future Jobs resources to show students how the world of work is rapidly changing and some of the exciting possibilities that may exist in the world they will grow up into.

KS2 Resources
We've also now completed our Key Stage 2 resource collection with the addition of four new Science resources covering the following topics: Forces; Light; Living Things and Their Habitats; and Materials and their Properties.
Each resource includes seven contextualised challenges to link that curriculum topic to the world of work. These KS2 Maths, Science and English resources are perfect for incorporating some careers inspiration into lessons.

STEM Careers
We've added a wordsearch including 20 STEM-based careers from a range of sectors. This resource is perfect for demonstrating to learners how an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths can open up a wide range of careers options.
This could be teamed with one of our STEM individual careers resources or one of our Science curriculum resources to extend the activity - or you could task your class with finding out more information about one of the STEM careers featured in the wordsearch.

LMI Match Game
Labour Market Information (LMI) can be incredibly dry and tedious for students to explore - so we've gamified it to make it more fun and engaging!
Our LMI Match Game challenges students to match the LMI data displayed on each slide to the correct career out of the options available.
Students score points depending on how quickly they can identify the correct career from its LMI making it a fun and interactive way of introducing the concept of Labour Market Information to your learners.

Careers Comprehenisons
We’ve added six new careers reading comprehension resources, making it a collection of 18 different jobs to choose from in total.
These are ideal for linking career learning to the English curriculum, allowing your learners to extract, summarise and explain careers information.
This month we’ve added Nurse, Solicitor, Teacher, Architect, Geneticist and Sustainability Manager to the folder here.
GCSE Options
This is a worksheet that guides students through a series of questions and activities that will help them make more informed decisions about their GCSE choices.
The activity would be ideal for when you are starting to get your students thinking about their upcoming options decisions, and would like a structured activity that helps to stimulate thought and discussion about the choices available.

Medical Tools Match
Finally, we've added a Medical Tools Match game that introduces students to the wide range of occupations found in Health and Social Care and the various tools used by those professionals.
Students must choose the correct tool from the three suggestions. Once they have selected the correct answer they are provided with some careers information and a contextual challenge that places them in the shoes of that professional as they complete a task relating to that job role.
This would be perfect to use with any aspiring medics or with Health and Social Care or PSHE classes.
