Panjango update - new games, resources and more!

Hello,

I know it’s a busy time for many of you now that students are back in school and I hope your return to the classroom has gone as smoothly as possible.

Here at Panjango, we’ve been a bit quiet since my last update. But that’s only because we’ve had our heads down producing more exciting new games and resources for the Panjango Resource Bank :)

imageWe first launched the Resource Bank back in November with around 30 resources. Since then we've been racing along adding dozens more, including plenty of new types of resources, as we build towards a full Scheme of Learning that will incorporate everything we've created.

I wanted to share an update about what’s available now, and what our plans are for the coming few months.

New games and resources...

Each month I’ve updated subscribers on the new resources they can access as part of their subscription.

There are now more than 80 resources across a variety of categories.

We've added plenty more to our core resource categories of Careers, Sectors, Skills, and Curriculum Topics.

Plus, we've expanded the range to include Issues (such as mental health or climate change), Events (such as Halloween and Christmas) and Journeys (such as an Earthquake or Pandemic!).

All these resources offer interactive and exciting ways of exploring careers while connecting careers to the curriculum.

imageWe also added another new digital careers game, Panjango Top 10s, where players race against the clock to name as many of the Top 10 examples of a topic relating to the world of work as they can in 60 seconds.

You can see the full list of interactive teaching resources and digital careers games here.

As you'll see, there's now plenty to choose from :)

New subscribers...

It’s been great to welcome new subscribers who have joined each month to access the games and resources we’re creating. Feedback so far has been incredible. Here's just one example:

"I'm in heaven! These resources are incredible and I cannot wait to share them with curriculum departments. Honestly, this is the best example of Gatsby Benchmark 4 I've seen when it comes to resources!"

Catherine Carruthers, Head of Careers, Astrea Academy Dearne

We want to keep growing our number of subscribers so we can keep on working on exciting new ideas to transform the way young people learn about careers, and new ways for them to connect their learning to life.

So thank to all those who have supported us already by subscribing :)

Building a full Scheme of Learning...

We’re currently focused on building out a full Scheme for Learning which will incorporate all our games and resources into a structured series of careers lessons for Key Stage 3.

We’ll be launching the initial part of this scheme in late April with additional elements being added in the following months.

The Explore, Experience, Thrive scheme will make it easy for educators to help students explore and experience the world of work in fun and meaningful ways, and to develop the practical knowledge and skills they need to thrive in life after school.

The world is probably now a more uncertain place than ever before.

So Panjango is committed to equipping young people with the practical knowledge, skills and experience to succeed in this rapidly changing world.

Price update...

As the Resource Bank continues to grow, and we add even more value through the new Scheme of Learning, it's time for us to update our prices following the introductory offers.

Note: this price change won't affect current subscribers. They will continue to enjoy all the future updates at the current, lower price they signed up with these past few months.

However, if you haven't subscribed yet, don't be disappointed. You can still sign up at the current low price, before the increase at the end of April.

You can therefore subscribe to the Panjango Resource Bank for just £7.99 per month, or £89.99 per annum (including VAT).

To subscribe, and lock in the current low price, simply click here.

So if you want to engage students with exciting activities, show them how their learning can be used in the real world, and spark thought-provoking conversations about their future, then join us and start using our ever-growing collection of games and resources designed to do just that.

That’s all for today. I wish you well in returning to some sort of normality in school. It’s great to know that students are benefiting from being back in class with their teachers and friends, and exploring the world through learning and play!
