Guided Meditation, Free Events & Election Resources
Aug 26, 2024 11:31 am
Dear friends,
I hope you’ve been well. I’m writing to share some free resources and a short, personal update.
My wife and I are eagerly expecting the arrival of our second child this fall, and I want to create some opportunities to connect online before I go on paternity leave. Join me this Friday, August 30 for a guided meditation plus open Q&A, or on September 12 in conversation with author and mindfulness teacher Susan Kaiser Greenland.
I’m also looking forward to offering some new programs next year: an online group connected to my book, Your Heart Was Made for This, and a more accessible version of my Say What You Mean online communication courses.
Last, with so much happening in the public sphere, I want to share a couple of free resources to navigate the noise with more balance and clarity.
Here's a recent guided meditation on my website, Finding Poise Amidst Chaos.
For those in the United States, I’m also happy to pass along these free, non-partisan election resources from Sharon Salzberg. I always appreciate Sharon's perspective—clear, warm, and down to earth. (Many thanks to those who offered feedback on the personal, “get out the vote” note in my last email. I love reading your emails and cherish the opportunity to learn from one another.)
I'm aiming to send at least one more newsletter before our baby arrives. In the meantime, I hope to see you at one of the upcoming events online!
With much warmth,
Oren
