November Blessings, Happy Birthday to Me and More

Good Morning,

Today is my birthday; I’m not going to say which one, but it is my special day. Before I tell you how I plan to spend it, I want to inform you that this has been my year of yes. I’ve said no to a few things which I felt were holding me back or slowing me down and agreed to touch, take part, or be a member of a photo frame for a more giant portrait.

I don’t regret the decision.

This year has been beautiful, scary, overwhelming, and at times, a struggle. Through it all, I came out stronger for the journey and am thankful for the many blessings. Although I am unclear on what may come next, I pray that you are a part of the journey.

Speaking of journeys, we returned from the Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage, no worse for the wear, but my home life has changed. My five-year-old grandson decided he wanted to live with us permanently, which we were pretty much prepared to handle. We weren’t ready for his nine-year-old sister, who has determined that she must also come to watch over him as his big sister. Our test run will be during this holiday season on how to make this work. Yes, you need to pray for me, and I will accept the prayers because my family of four suddenly began a household of six.

Our cat slash house sitter, Lord Bless It, is going to be with us a bit longer than just the days we were away. Her vehicle is busted, so is her bank account, and her new, temporary address is with me. From what I can tell, this child needs everything. I don’t know what her journey is with me, or if she arrived in my life for me to help her, or if she’s been sent to help me, but she’s here.

In the next six months, my goal is to get her on her feet and moving in the right direction. I shall ask, simply because the need is great, that for my birthday, send me a dollar to help my Angel if you’re reading this.
