August is Amazing

Are you ready for an Amazing August?
Hiya, I don't have much to report. I took the Summer off to hang out with my grandson and shift down a bit. I took him to the Aquatics center for swimming lessons which turned out to be more than hilarious.
At the end of the first session, the instructor comes over to ask about Lil Man's Heart condition.
I'm shocked and confused and naturally ask, "pardon me, what?"
Instructor: "He said he has a heart condition and can't place his head under the water because it triggers his anxiety."
I know, go ahead and laugh. However, it gets worse. My grandson keeps telling me the man's name is Bob, and it didn't sound right. We walk into the session the following week, ready to continue his lessons, and I politely greet the instructor, "Good morning Bob."
Instructor: My name is Sacha. I told the kids to bob in the water, and he started calling me Bob.
I know. I have no idea what to do with this kid.
Moving on...I was invited to an amazing brunch with friends. The spread was awesome, the conversation amazing, and the aesthetics with the ambiance, simply astounding. From the Left, Michael Budd, Juanita Campbell of the Center for African American Culture in Aiken and Dr. Tom Mack.
I had so much fun at this brunch, I decided to have friends over for a sit-down dinner myself. Nothing fancy, just good food, and fun conversation, and my bestie and I did a bit of journaling while the guys chilled out in the other room.
I took July off from writing and attended a bunch of local free sessions. I attended a copyright and trademark workshop presented by the Arts Council. I also attended an estate planning class offered by the local library. Good information on both.

Our Amazing August is Astounding
Get it here! David Devonshire has struck again, this time he has turned the tables on his sister. Vanity Devons wasn’t pleased that her big brother David had set up a meeting with Nigel Strathmore, a stodgy British textile manufacturer for an exclusive line of silks. But there was something about Nigel. The problem was she liked him. A great deal. “If you truly want me, come and get me,” she told him in jest, knowing that he did not like to fly, especially over water. The surprise was on her when he showed up at her brother’s wedding, to accept her offer.
