Thank you for the emails, DM's, and messages about what is coming next. I have been writing, but it is slow going. For me, it is important to get the details correct, or rather "write." Yes, I'm corny like that, but so much work has been put into Helen's journey that slacking off would be, well, a sad ending.

Right now, it will end with a bang. And laughs. And fun. And a fitting end to four installments of The Technicians.

Inside the conclusion are a great number of details on how a Technician comes to be are revealed, as well as getting an understanding of those people around us who we call empaths, that are more in tune with the universe. Helen steps into her full power, the relationship with Jay as well as a new understanding of friendship with the Bad Apple.

The training takes an interesting turn for Helen and the read is going to be great. You can look forward to reading it at the beginning of the year.

Writing is a lonely life. Here is the perfect way to take a mental break. There are days when you've had it with your characters and they simply will not behave.

In between scenes, or while you work out a conversation, give your brain a treat with puzzles, coloring pages, Soduko puzzles and mazes.

Lemon Garlic Pasta

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2–3 lemons)
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a large pot of salted water, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, typically 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden brown (about 1-2 minutes).
  3. Stir in fresh lemon juice with the garlic, allowing it to simmer briefly.
  4. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining spaghetti. Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss well.
  5. Remove from heat and mix in grated Parmesan and chopped parsley. If needed, add reserved pasta water gradually for desired sauce consistency.
  6. Taste and adjust salt and pepper as necessary. Serve hot with additional cheese on top.

Okay, I needed a break from Aunt Sue, and I wasn't ready to write LeBeau's story even though I went to Louisiana and rode in a boat through the swamps and bayous. We even fed the coons and the gators. Yeah, I need a minute.

I went on to Colorado and wrote this out of turn, but I can do that, because i am an adult. It is a very sexy.

The love is on the page, in the bed, in the shower...and he can bake.
