🚲 The Comeback

My top pick this year is this book on Greg LeMond called The Comeback for good reason. 

He won the Tour de France, then nearly succumbed to a tragic accident (he got shot!) before winning the Tour de France AGAIN a few years later.

This is THE inspirational story about overcoming the odds. 

🇺🇸 American Icon

American Icon is my second pick for 2023. I LOVED this book. Surprisingly, as I don’t care for Ford cars. Haha. Or didn’t until I learned more about this turnaround story.

There are not enough books on leadership and actual change in larger companies. This one is it. 

Great story of focus, challenge, and discipline from the CEO, Alan Mulally. 

⚔️ The Blade Itself

My third pick is the perfect dose of fiction for travel or nighttime reading. I read The Blade Itself upon recommendation from Tim Ferriss. And it blew my expectations.

What an INSANELY good, well-written noir fantasy novel. It’s like Game of Thrones meets Tarantino meets Arnold Schwarzenegger. The characters, storyline, and action all make this a memorable one.
