This is a real life transformation of one of my @flex_success clients. Today is #transformationtuesday and your feed is likely full of pictures that look like this one. But, ???? ?? ?????? ????? ??? ???????????? ???. @frances_alexandrou and I worked together for around 6 months in total but if I'm honest, the physical transformation, you can see in the picture above, probably took no longer than 12 weeks. Read on to find out about the other 12+ weeks. Losing fat is great, in some cases, it is even healthy. The physical transformation is only part of the story though. Many people achieve great physical results but in the process they destroy their relationship with food. ???? ??????? ?????? ????? ????? ??? ?? ? ????? ????? ???? ???? ???? ????? ???? ???. Anyone can create a Calorie deficit. Helping someone reach their goals ??????? ????? ???? is another story. So what did we work on after the physical transformation? ??????????? ?????????. ???????????? ???? ????. ??????? ?????? ?? ???? ??????????? ????????. More things I can't remember right now! haha And you only have to take a look at her Instagram to see how this transformation has filled @frances_alexandrou with ??????????. But, you would probably have to converse with her to find out how far her relationship with herself and her food have come. Health first. 3/6
I never thought that the "Health & Fitness" industry would be ??????????? ??? ?? ???? ?????? ??????... #healthfirst is one of the principles that underlines my approach to coaching. ?????? ?? ??????? ??? ??? ??????? ?? ???? ?????? or gain weight, it's a simple equation. if their client follows their instructions, it's easy to achieve. ??? ????? ??????? ??? ?? ????? ???? ?????? ??????? ??????? ??? ?????? ?? ????? ??????? ?? ????. Yes, there are times where an athlete may choose to put their performance or body composition goals ahead of their health but is important, as a coach, to ensure that the athlete's ?????? ?????? ????? ???? ?? ??? ???????? ?????? ???????. In my opinion, this so called "Health & Fitness" industry is far too focussed on only half of it's namesake. I'm not just talking about physical health either (although there are plenty of people who's physical health is negatively affected by poor coaches). Psychological and emotional health are also neglected far too often and there are countless cases of clients ending coaching with a terrible relationship with food and/or their own body and/or in some terrible cases, eating disorders and evenental health issues. ?????? ???? ?? ??? ??????? ?? ??????? ??????. All too often people scour the internet in search of the next pill or potion or quick fix or follow the advice of people or groups who are unqualified to give such advice. There are multiple facets of health and they all play a role in your overall health. That doesn't mean that you need to always focus on them all. some will be up while others are down. As with all things, balance is important. I would advise not neglecting any one facet for too long though. I you are a coach and you are neglecting the health of your clients in favour of money or results, please kindly fuck off. Health First. ? @yazzabell 2/6
But learning doesn't love me ? WHYYYYY?! ??? The thing is, it doesn't matter how much I learn or how dedicated I am, ????? ???? ?????? ?? ???? ?? ?????. This week I dedicated around 19 hours to my education. That's half of a full time job! Some of these hours were pretty normal for me, I am studying afterall. Additional to my usual studying, this week I attended about 6 hours of online seminars from some of the best in the business @iron @the adam and @thereal PLUS a 5 hour seminar from the world's most consistently successful weight cut coach @mike I had my bias' challenged and learned a hell of a lot! Why do I spend so much of my free time learning? Because my clients pay me to be the best coach I can be and when they ask me a questions, I owe them the answer. Not because they pay me, because they trust me to answer them with the most up-to-date information available. ???? ???? ????? ???? ?? ???????? ?? ?? ??? ????? ?? ?? ???????????? ??????? ?? ?????? ?????, ????? ??? ?????? ??????? ?? ???? ?? ??? ????? ???????? ??????? ?????. ? ?? ??????? ??? ???? ?? ???? ?????? ???????????.
