As promised in our last issue, today, I want to highlight the importance of planning in advance. You might not be able to predict growth - but you can sure as hell plan for it.


The last few months of the year are a great time to step back and start planning your growth strategy for next year. Taking a proactive approach now will save you from scrambling in the first quarter.


Start by identifying your top 3-5 goals - whether it’s increasing customer acquisition, enhancing retention, or rolling out new services or products. These goals should align with your long-term vision, but also be achievable within a 12-month timeframe.


Once you’ve defined your goals, break them down into actionable steps, and most importantly, set measurable KPIs or OKRs (Objectives and Key Results). These will serve as your roadmap, helping you stay focused and track progress.


For instance, if your goal is to increase customer acquisition, you might set a KPI of generating 500 new leads per quarter. If retention is a priority, an OKR could be reducing churn by 15%.


Don’t forget to remain agile. While a well-thought-out strategy is crucial, so is the ability to pivot when necessary. Markets shift, and so do priorities.


Set regular check-ins - monthly or quarterly - to review performance and adjust your course if needed. The sooner you start planning, the better prepared you'll be to hit the ground running in 2025.

Last week was quite eventful what with all the talk about Elon Musk and his Cybercab not to mention the RoboVan AND the dancing robots (Yes, you read that right)!


And while it may take a while for the actual Cybercabs to hit the streets, I have to admit, Musk's predictions about having them in production by 2026 do sound quite ambitious.
