A pond full of fun from our founder Phyllis Wheeler

It's always fun to let you know what our New Classics authors have been up to (especially new books!) Here is our founder, Phyllis Wheeler, sharing about her brand-new project. Aren't these the most adorable little ducklings you ever saw?

I've Been Writing Picture Books!
Specifically, picture books that point little hearts toward God.
A character came to me, a duckling who doesn't follow his mama around, like all his brothers and sisters do. This little guy is curious, adventuresome, and ready for action. His name is Roland.
Naturally he gets into trouble. In fact, in Book 2, he runs away from God. (Do you like the book Runaway Bunny? Then you'll like this one.)
His adventures lead to comforting, happy endings with reassuring Bible verses like Psalm 19 (Book 1) and Psalm 139 (Book 2).
I'm publishing these myself, and I was blessed to find a gifted illustrator who loved Roland and spent a lot of time bringing him to life: Elizabeth van der Bijl from South Africa.
Both books have received a Five-Star Review from Readers' Favorite.
"…A gentle exploration of faith and the omnipresence of God in a way that is easy for children to understand. … It is a wonderful resource for parents and educators looking to introduce children to Christian values through storytelling."
