Hi, friends!

Do you ever struggle to find fun, clean books for your kids that reflect your family’s values? Do you wish your young storytellers had chances to connect with Christian authors to see that they can create their own stories too?

I’m Becca Wierwille, award-winning author of the Road Trip Rescue series, and I’ve felt these challenges as a mom, writer, and former teacher. So has my friend and fellow middle grade author Amanda Trumpower.

We wanted to do something to try to help. And that’s why we started our new book podcast for kids,

Ice Cream with Authors is the podcast that brings mini author visits straight to your home or car! 🎧 Perfect for kids 7-13 and their grown-ups, each episode serves up delightful conversations with authors who create faith-filled chapter books and middle grade adventures.

Whether your child is a budding bookworm or a seasoned reader, this podcast gives kids a chance to discover new Christian children’s books, meet inspiring writers, and enjoy sweet stories that nourish the soul.

Tune in every Thursday for new episodes! Ice Cream with Authors is available wherever you find podcasts, as well as on YouTube.

Episodes include short interviews designed for kid listeners, along with excerpts from the featured book, so kids (and parents!) can decide if it’s right for them.
