Turkey Time, Holiday Shows, and a New Video!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone,
Hope y'all are having a cozy and relaxing week, whether you are celebrating or not!
Have you seen our new music video over on YouTube?
We played Mississippi Studios in Portland earlier this year and captured our whole performance on video. John Hiatt's Crossing Muddy Waters has been one of our favorite covers to include in our sets recently and we're proud of how this turned out. We'll be releasing more from that show soon, so keep your eyes on YouTube or Instagram to hear more. Feel free to subscribe as well if you feel so inclined.
We're reaching the end of a big year of change for the band. We're eager for more opportunities to play for y'all and see more of our beautiful country next year. If you've seen us perform this year you have likely heard the sounds of Lillian Sawyer and Matthew Holmes, fiddle and bass, adding some luscious tones and a new dimension of groove to the band. We're so stoked by how they've changed the sound of the music we've been making. We hope that y'all have been enjoying it as well.
One other big change is that in the past few weeks we signed with Sarah Farrell at Rowboat Music booking agency. Sarah will be booking our shows going forward. We're optimistic about the new places we'll get to play as a result of this new relationship as well as returning to old favorites next year.

A few weeks ago we got to open for Jim Lauderdale at the The Showdown in Portland. It was so much fun joining him for a handful of songs at the end of the night. We love that guy and he is a huge hero of ours. Big thank you to everyone who came out. We are crossing our fingers that we get to do it again with him the next time he comes our way...
As we mentioned earlier, we only have a couple more shows before the end of the year. If you wanna come see us we'll be in the Bay Area and in Central Oregon next month!
On 12/12 we'll be at the The Freight in Berkeley, CA. We're excited to be returning to this historic venue. We'll be joined by buddies from the San Francisco based folk band My Dog Jack. If you know anyone in the Bay who might want to come see us, please let them know! We want to pack that place out!
On 12/20 we'll be at The Belfry in Sisters, OR for our annual solstice show w/ friends Skillethead. This is our fourth year doing this with them and it's always a huge party where we see lots of friends and family. It's one of our favorite shows of the year. Ticket links for both shows below.
12/12 Berkeley, CA - The Freight w/My Dog Jack
12/20 Sisters, OR - The Belfry w/ Skillethead
That's all for now you fine folks of the World Wide Web. Thanks again for all of your support and coming along on this crazy journey with us. We look forward to touching grass, as the kids say, and seeing you out there in the real world. Don't let the AI bite.
Take care,
NCD <3
