Create a vision for your life that dives into the nitty-gritty of how you want your working life to support your lifestyle. Ask yourself:
- How many hours would you want to work per week, ideally?
- How many breaks do you want in a day?
- How many holidays do you want?
- Do you want flexibility?
- Do you want to work in an office or at home?
- How do you want to feel when you're working?
- Do you want creative work, easy work, simple work, strategic work?
- Do you want to be the manager or the do-er?
- What work don't you want to be doing?
- Do you want to be able to "turn off" on the weekend?
- Create goals that support your vision using a tool like The Life Map
