Hi praying friends,

Thank you SO much for praying! We had a great visit with the group of youth pastors from last week. We knocked a ton of stuff off our our production list as we were working on podcasts last week. (New content coming out each week on our Patreon site!) Our son Josh even surprised us with a visit back from school over the weekend!

And thanks for praying for Elissa to be healthy - she has been working hard on costumes for our partner, The Limelight Collective's performance this weekend. (The Limelight Collective is a performance arts ministry of the Salvation Army - great friends and partners!)

But then, Saturday evening, I started to feel really run down. Sunday was a bit iffy, but I was silly and went for a jog in the beautiful countryside after dropping Elissa off at an event, and then I was pretty sick on Monday and Tuesday (Congestion, headaches, body aches - all the fun stuff.) I am still feeling under the weather this morning - and am working from home to see if I can make it to some important meetings this afternoon.

I really don't like being sick! I mean, I am not sure anyone enjoys it... but it just feels like such an intrusion on the things I want to get done. ;). Please pray for me to be healthy again quickly!

Some other requests:

1. Our daughter celebrated her birthday early this week! It was great to be able to have all of our family virtually together via Zoom for a chat. Pray for her as she searches for a new apartment. They have turned in notice on their existing space, so need to be out by the end of the month!
2. Pray for Caleb as his new semester starts next week.
3. Pray for Josh as he finishes up his month of schooling up North.
4. Please keep praying for Visa appointments for our residents and interns. An article in a local newspaper had a quote that said "We are on the border of dysfunctionality" talking about the lack of personnel and difficulty getting appointments. We need a God breakthrough!
