Dear praying friends,

We took our last short-term team, a group of great partners from Crossway Alliance Church, to the airport on Sunday morning. They were great to have here.

One of the interesting things about getting ready to go home for a year is the "lasts" you experience (until the next time you experience them!). That was our last team. A local bakery is going on summer vacation, so I visited them for the lsat time. One of the people who works at the local market will be gone for a month, so I may have seen here for the last time. So many different feelings!

Today, I head down into the Alps to go hikig with my son, Caleb! He was paying with his band last night on the far northern Island of Hiddensee, and today he will be in the southern village of Oberstdorf. Lucky guy!! Pray for safe travel and a great time exploring nature together.

And then, we will have two weeks until we fly - with SO much to do both at work and at home. Please pray for us as we wrap things up.

Oh! Josh got a visa appointment... but not until December 11th!! We were already planning to attend an Alliance conference in Greece from December 5-10th, so now adding a quick trip up to Berlin to be a part of Josh's appointment means we can be there for his appointment. Thank you for praying! God worked things. out in an unusual way.

Please also pray for:

1. Energy for the coming two weeks.
2. Our schedule to continue to come together in the US.
3. All of the paperwork we need to continue to wrap up, including things we are not quite sure how to do.
4. Elissa's health and energy.
