Hi praying friends,

Over the last week we have said goodbye to two interns. I woke up early this morning (3:15) to pick up an intern and bring him to the airport for his bright-and-early departure from Berlin. It is a strange feeling to have pictures from within a week of an intern walking away heading toward airport security.

One of the amazing privileges of being involved in a ministry that focuses on the discovery and development of the next generation of missional leader through short-term opportunities is the chance to really invest into people's lives! We have loved pouring into our interns lives. One of the hard parts is saying good-bye to these amazing people who joined our ministry for a short period of time. There is always a season of recalibration on our end as we adjust to the new realities of a different-sized team with different gifts and skills. This week, we are doing that while...

We get ready to welcome a new short-term-team on Friday! We are excited about them arriving, and about the partnership Crossway Alliance has with the ministries in Berlin.

Thank you for praying for our exhibit opening last week! It went great!! We had some new guests, and our artist even sold one of her pictures during the opening!!

On the home front:

1. Joshua heard back from the visa office! We have sent them more documents so they can review his case. Please pray for a quick response.
2. We are still working through a lot of housing details on the Berlin side. Please pray for clarity.
3. How do you handle stress? I tend to stress eat and hyper-fixate on the details I can control (which does not make me the best person to be around.). Can you pray for me as we go through the high tension of the next month?

Please also remember our house church as we transition. This precious group of believers is about to enter into a year of meeting differently. It is always easy to say we are ready for something like that, but reality sometimes upsets our plans. All of our members are connected well with other Envision ministries or with other Christian groups in Berlin - but we would love for you to join us in prayer that this coming year is a year of growth for them as a community and for them in their faith!
