Hey

Have you ever felt anxious about a vacation because you finally got into a the rhythm with your fitness journey. Weight started coming off, muscles started to pop, and you finally started fitting into clothes you thought you were going to donate to your personal museum?

You're not alone. I felt the same way. I remember my last competition was a few months before my son was born.

I was originally planning on competing around the time he would be born, but had to shorten my prep once I found out my fiancée at the time was pregnant.

I had goals, but the timeline had just been massively reduced.

I started my prep on Boxing Day.

12-weeks later, I killed it.

Best I had ever looked and I was on point with everything.

Then my son was born. There were many complications with the pregnancy. It was very high risk.

Becoming a Father brought about many new feelings and responsibilities.

I find many men and women. Start to take their foot off the gas pedal and start settling for mediocrity. It's understandable because it's easy to justify our excuses.

It's harder to make our excuses our reasons. So, I always recommend doing the harder things since they bring about new levels of respect, since you're no longer ordinary but rather extraordinary.

There were days I didn't want to go to the gym because it was hard missing time away from him. So I started doing a lot more bodyweight training.

I used to think that it was kind of pointless, until I started applying principles that would progress me in different ways.

I got stronger more flexible and my physique started to improve. I was doing dips, push ups, pull ups, squats, lunges, and planks as part of my main routine. I progressed by manipulating factors like time under tension and rest periods.

If you want help with bodyweight training, with full workouts that you can do while on the go.

Feel free to message me for a program details to keep you on track, so you too can turn your excuses into your reasons.

Stay Savage, because F*** Being Average,
