THE ONE THING  YOU NEED TO KNOW (+ DO)

Time for a reality check: Where are you stopping yourself BEFORE others can reject you? (linked below if you prefer video/audio)

Before you...

• Ask for the mic?
• Register the business name?
• Publish the post which says the thing you REALLY want to say?
• Apply for the funding?
• Pitch to a room of strangers?
• Step on the stage as a keynote?
• Send the project proposal with your new rate?
• Hit record on the podcast episodes you've been thinking about?
• Sign the contract to bet on yourself?
• Submit the immigration papers to request the visa?
• Make the art and offer it for sale?
• Accept the money for your time, services, talents?
• Follow up on the request?

These are all things I've done over the past 20 years, in 4 different countries, before and since becoming a parent of 3 kids under the age of 10.

People weren't seeking me out before I took the first step and indicated:

• Who I was
• How I could help
• What I needed next and
• When I was ready to move

✨️This is the simplest (yet usually the scariest) advice I have for beginners AND the ones who feel this is hitting a nerve✨️⬇️

Say yes to yourself first, don't reject yourself from anything BEFORE others can say no to you.

And if they do (and they will at some point), don't make it mean anything about your worth, carry on, keep going and repeat it. Again and again.

With new opportunities, strangers, places, ideas, projects, skills.

You can expand your potential and invite in different realities, experiences, learnings and connections by simply saying yes to what you truly desire.

Some people say get out of your head and into your body.

That can help too!

Action usually follows belief.

Make sure yours aren't set to always protect you from someone else's 'no'.
