• Update #1: I'm teaming up with Startup Canada to host the first-ever Parentpreneur Lounge at next week's Startup Day Conference in Ottawa at the Shaw Centre on Thursday, October 20th, alongside my baby who's currently nine-months-old (pictured above doing quality control on our supplies)

• Your Action: Send me a message if you'd like to receive a Startup Community discount code to RSVP for a complimentary ticket for the event, then show up as you are, stop by to say hi, play, chill out, feed yourself and kid(s) in the Parentpreneur Lounge...and enjoy a day of networking and sessions focused on entrepreneurship in Canada!

• Update #2: I'm also hosting my first in person pop-up event at Bayview Yards (home of Invest Ottawa) the week after on Friday, October 28th from 10-11:30 a.m. There will be a continental breakfast spread, child-friendly play area and guest speaker panel focused on 'Funding + Financing Your Business', featuring Julia Slanina, Founder & CEO of Treehouse, Muna Mohammed, Founder of Eight50 Coffee and Kais Al-Iriani, Senior Loan Officer at the Ottawa Community Loan Fund.

• Your Action: Check out the event listing and RSVP ASAP as there is limited space and stroller parking in the workshop room!
