Hello !
Remember when you realized that, in order to participate in that group, you had to get more comfortable being around people and opening up?
And, remember when you moved out on your own, and you had to learn how to pay bills and cook?
I remember these things. They were uncomfortable, but growing and functioning as an adult required that I step out of the familiar and "safe" and learn new things.
Like Wendy was talking about on Sunday, growth is our destiny, and giving Jesus greater lordship in our lives requires growth.
I want to challenge you over the next three days. Think of one thing that you need to grow in, and get uncomfortable. If you're uncomfortable socially, walk across the room and introduce yourself to someone new. If you're uncomfortable with giving, give a small gift. If you're uncomfortable working out, go for a short walk. Remember, a one-percent improvement every day is all it takes!
