Hey !
I just wanted to send out a quick reminder that Saturday is our Neighborhood Halloween Party.
During this pandemic, people are lonely, they're hurting, and their sense of normal is turned upside down. Let's show up, bless them, give them candy and cocoa, and show them the love of God in fun ways!
Maybe it will be just what they need to get out of a funk.
I just wanted to mention some safety precautions we'll be taking to remain socially distant and keep germs from spreading the best we can.
First, we will not be having any indoor activities, so dress for the weather.
Second, our hot dog servers will be dressing those dogs too. We don't want a bunch of hands on that ketchup and mustard.
Third, all cocoa will be dispensed by the cocoa crew. Again, only those pre-approved will be touching the pump pots.
Fourth, all food and drink handlers will wear gloves and masks.
Fifth, Moline Trick or Treat hours are from 5:00 to 8:00, but our hours will be a bit different. We will arrive at Mercy Vineyard at 4:00 to set up for the party, and we will begin cleaning up around 7:00ish.
Feel free to dress up, treat yourself to some cocoa, and have fun.
But, most of all, make sure the kids in our neighborhood have fun!
This is going to be great!
See you Saturday!
