First Things First: Got Eternal Life?
You've been given gifts that are essential to the body of Christ. And your home.
So has your spouse.
You're both essential to the body of Christ. And your home.
Your differences are what help things function properly. And for the glory of God.
So don't despise your spouse's gifts. Or your own.
You're both essential.
1 Corinthians 12:17-20
"If the whole body were an eye, how would you hear? Or if your whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything? But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it. How strange a body would be if it had only one part! Yes, there are many parts, but only one body."
QUESTIONS TO ASK:
What gifts does my spouse bring to the body of Christ and our home?
What gifts do I bring to the body of Christ and our home?
How can I honor both of our gifts better?
PRAYER: Wow God. Thank you for my spouse's gifts. And thank you for mine. Forgive me if I've ever wanted either of our gifts to be different. Help us to cherish and honor the gifts that you've given us. Help us to use them for Your glory. To serve the body of Christ. Including serving in our home. In Jesus' name Amen.
