If you've been wondering why I've been a little missing it's because I've been busy publishing two books in October.
As an apology, I'd like to give you a little something I've been working on the past few days.
The Last Star: A Sun Maker Short Story
The Last Star is set in my Sun Maker universe and it takes place between Harrowed Blade and Sun Maker (books five and six). You don't need to read those books to read this, however.

Joey is Busy Chasing Cats
Our backyard has been off limits for a few weeks as a wooden fence was replaced by a concrete wall. So, Bonsai and Joey have been cooped up a little. Now, they're free to run about and chase the neighborhood cats as they please.
Joey takes advantage of the time he has. All Bonsai wants to do is sleep. 🌘

Books & Movies
I'm currently reading DUNE by Frank Herbert again for the second time. It's been about 5 years since I read it the first time and I'm loving it.
ALSO, if you haven't seen the new Dune movie by Denis Villeneuve, you're missing out! It's a triumph of modern cinema and fantastic visual storytelling. Dune (2021) has become one of my top favorite movies of all time. Right up there with The Fellowship of the Ring (2001).
