Sorry I've been MIA for the past few weeks. I've been fully immersed in writing Book Five of the Sun Maker Saga...

Sun Maker Book Five ☀️

...and it's finally done! 😱

This has been one of the hardest books to plot. There have been a few hiccups along the way, but the story is exactly what I want it to be!

The new (and final) title for this book will be:

Harrowed Blade: Sun Maker Book Five

I still need to come up with a longer description copy, so more on that at a later time.

Heatwave 🔥

In other news, Bonsai and Joey are happy to be outside again. We've had a bit of a heatwave here in St. George (110°+!) so they've been stuck inside. Right now it's a moderate 85° with a projected high of 95°.

So they're having some fun in the sun! ☀️

Bladeship Design 🚀

In other, other news, I recently commissioned some art for my books and decided to start with bladeships...

For those who don't know what bladeships are, they're comparable to Imperial Star Destroyers from Star Wars or Battlestars from Battlestar Galactica. They're large warships from my Sun Maker and Stars Reach sagas.

Good Reads 📖

Lately, I've been reading Alastair Reynold's House of Suns.

It's an epic space opera and mystery about Campion and Purslane, two clones of Abigail Gentian who are on the run from a nameless threat seeking to destroy them and the entire Gentian Line of clones.

I'm only about 1/5th of the way through it, but I'm really enjoying it so far!
