Learn how you can send your very own newsletter, and have it come from your email address.

People open emails from people they know.

Similar to Mailchimp or ConvertKit, Wix has an email marketing tool already built in… and it's called "Email Marketing" from Ascend by Wix.

Every email you send can come from your email address. How cool is that?!

How, you might ask? Well, let's dive in…

Read the Steps:

To set this up (or update your settings):

1. Go to Marketing & SEO > Email Marketing on the left side bar of the Wix Dashboard, or find it using Wix Universal Search in the top menu.
2. Now, on the right side you will see "Sender Details" and underneath that "Edit Details".
3. Select "Edit Details" to modify where the emails will be coming from, and where your audience replies will go to.
4. Type in your name, business name, or both in the "From Name" field. Pro Tip: If it's short enough (20–30 characters including spaces), enter both your first name and business name, such as: "Matt from A Creative" or "Tim at Apple". This adds a human (personal touch) instead of just a business name.
5. Then, enter your email address in the "Reply-to Email" field.
6. Once you finish typing your email, Wix will send a confirmation code to that exact email address for you to confirm.
7. Go get that confirmation code from your email, then come back to this page on Wix and enter the confirmation code.
8. Click Confirm.
9. 🎉 Done. Celebrate! 🎊

Your emails are amazing… I can already tell.

Now every message you send will come from your very own email address.

Note: If you have a consumer email like @gmail.com, and not a "professional one" a.k.a. one that you pay for, like @mybusinessname.com, instead you will see the emails come from YourEmailAddress @ ascendbywix.com or info @ wixshoutout.com. For example, let's say your email is NiceDrinks @ gmail.com, it will appear like NiceDrinks @ ascendbywix.com.

Bonus Pro Tip: You can actually begin to send emails entirely for free on any Wix site, even when you're still on the free website plan. So, it truly makes Wix a great place to start your next idea.
