Learn how you can "Venmo" someone in Wix.

Wix can serve as your full financing software application, and is managed within the Wix Dashboard.

Though, sending an invoice can take a lot of time, and not every transaction requires one.

So, if you need to send a payment request, like: Apple Pay, Square Cash, or Venmo — you can do that in Wix too.

Let's dive in…

1. Inside the Wix Dashboard, visit either Contacts, Communications > Inbox, or use the Wix Universal Search to find a specific contact. Learn more about Wix Universal Search here.
2. Once a contact is selected, you can choose to message them with the Inbox feature (a complete customer relationship management system).
3. Then, select "Request Payment" from the menu on the bottom right.
4. Choose the amount in your business' currency and enter a description to notify the recipient what that payment request is for.
5. Send it! 💰
6. The recipient will be notified, and they can check out — just like they would any other product or service.

Your payment will be received through your business' payment provider (e.g. Wix Payments, Stripe, PayPal, etc), and it will show up in your financial reports within Wix and to any other connected service like QuickBooks.
