I've spoken with two spouses this week who kept telling me what their spouse did wrong. I listened, and acknowledged the spouses have dropped the ball.

When I asked the complaining spouses to look at themselves, they went right back to telling me what their spouse did wrong.

To quote Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock: "It takes two to make things go right."
