Hi , I hope you're doing well.

I've been sitting on the sidelines considering what move I would make with Marriage Works.

To be honest, I've struggled with this for a while. I didn't want to start something just so I could say I started something. Moreover, whatever I did start, I wanted to ensure I had the commitment and stamina to see it through.

This past weekend, I learned about a friend who disclosed to his wife that he was cheating on her. I actually learned about it from the wife when she called me from his number to let me know that he was cheating.

Listening to her disclose the facts, and express the pain he's caused her and their two children was gut-wrenching. I could hear him crying loudly in the background as she went on for over an hour. It was a terrible experience.

In the days since, I have gotten clear on what I want to do next with Marriage Works. It's not a new idea. It's one I had a few years ago, but never acted on. But, now is the time, and I have the motivation and sense of urgency to act on it.

Beginning in February (date TBD), I will conduct a six week course for couples who have experienced the torture that comes from infidelity, and BOTH SPOUSES are committed to rebuilding their marriage.

When adultery happens, the world seems to get smaller, options seem less, the circle of who to talk to shrinks, and the way forward seems cloudy.

It seems risky to leave, and even riskier to stay.

If I'm describing you and your spouse, I want to help.

I realize that I'm not serving married couples who have not experienced infidelity by making this choice, and I apologize. I'm committed to helping where the help is needed most, and right now couples trying to figure out how to recover and rebuild is where my heart lies.
