Nationally, this has been a week for the books.

Personally, even more so.

Last Thursday, my Sweet Cetelia had a terrible bike accident. Many bruises, abrasions, and a tooth implant later, she is on the road to recovery. Thank God.

In the midst of that, of course, there have been protests, riots, looting, vandalism, and more. I wanted to address it, but didn't know how without fanning the flames that are already burning, literally in some places.

So, I decided to write about the one thing that cannot be disputed: my experience as Kevin Bullard, a black male. I had no idea it would generate the comments and conversations that have resulted. But, I'm glad it did.

I thought it was worth sharing with the Marriage Works! community so you'd know more about me.
