I was at my local coffee shop recently taking a moment to decide between half & half and whole milk. But it wasn’t just a choice about coffee—it sparked a reflection about marriage.

Those two options represent marital mindsets.

Some enter marriage with a 'half & half' approach, thinking it's all about a 50/50 effort. Unfortunately, this often leads to unmet expectations and, in some cases, an early end to the union.

On the other hand, there are those who embrace marriage with a whole milk perspective. They give 100%, diving in wholeheartedly. These are often the couples who make it to those landmark anniversaries, celebrating decades of commitment.

The message is clear: if you’re only willing to give half in your relationship, you might find it doesn't stand the test of time. But give it your all, and the rewards can be profound.

(If you're lactose intolerant, forget the milk, and give 100% in your marriage. 😇)
