As I've gotten older, I've become more of a risk taker.

This attitude has been prodded by the following quote: "Go out on a limb — that's where the fruit it is."

There's gonna come a time in your marriage when you're gonna to have to go out on a limb.

In other words, you're gonna have to take a risk.

Some risks are fun to take, and the result is anticipated.

Other risks have little to no joy, and the only thing you can anticipate is that you don't know what to anticipate.

I took a risk like that last night.

I needed to discuss a subject with Cetelia not knowing how it would turn out.

After a few minutes of me stumbling over my words and her asking for clarity, we reached the end of the conversation, and agreed on the next step.

It was risky. I was nervous. I went out on a limb.

This morning we have fruit.

While I appreciate the fruit gained last night, it turns out there's more fruit farther out on the limb.

This afternoon I'm going out farther.
