Pain. Nothing but pain.

Long days. Harder nights. Heart break.

Lord, when will it stop?

The haiku above may be your story.

The pandemic has made tough situations tougher.

While there appears to be a sliver of light where the pandemic is concerned, many spouses feel like there's no end in sight to the misery they're experiencing.

I don't have a magic pill nor spell that will make everything better.

But, I do have some words that I pray will give you strength to make it through the day:

God sees you. He always has -- from the time you were in your mother's womb. He has been with you in every trouble, and hasn't forsaken you a single time. He has a plan for your life, and he intends to accomplish it.

Although you are experiencing heartache right now, it doesn't change who God is. He never changes. He remains good. He continues to be faithful. Your circumstances don't change his relationship towards you.

I encourage you to hope in God. In his time, and with your obedience, he will bring about change in your life. His love is unfailing. Trust in him. He will strengthen your heart.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
