The ultimate marriage medicine

Cetelia and I are going through a pretty stressful time right now (who's not, right?). We're in the midst of work and the kids' school and sports schedule, we've started a new business.
Oh yeah, we're also moving in 15 days.
There's enough pressure in our house right now to bust a pipe.
I can't say we did this purposely, but we came up with a little silly game yesterday that has made both of us laugh.
It's so simple, I'm almost embarrassed to share it.
Basically, I'm saying a word, and Cetelia is coming up with an association as quickly as she can. It starts out serious, then we both start laughing midway through.
While it has not removed any of the stress surrounding us, it has given us a moment of levity.
And, I have to admit, it's nice to see Cetelia laugh (she's sexy when she laughs!).
She's had a hard summer with the bike accident and associated doctor visits and bills. So, to see her smiling is beautiful.
Here's something else: when she's laughing, I know that we're in a good place.
Jay Leno says, “You can’t stay mad at somebody who makes you laugh.”
If you've been mad at your spouse for a while, chances are he/she hasn't made you laugh lately.
I encourage you to watch some comedy, recall a funny memory (guys, it has to be funny to you AND her), or play our silly word association game.
Whatever you do, bring some laughter into your marriage.
It will do good like medicine.
