26 ways to have a better marriage
Jan 01, 2021 1:26 am
Welcome to the final day of 2020.
There are thousands of blogs and podcasts focusing on what happened this year, so we're going to focus on what happened in 2021.
Yes, you read that correctly.
I'd like you to think about what you wish you had done in the upcoming year.
Here's why ... looking back on what you wish had happened helps give you clarity regarding what you should do going forward.
For example, how would you answer these questions on December 31, 2021:
- Which hurt(s) have you been hanging onto that you wish you had forgiven?
- How many times per week do you wish you had prayed with your spouse?
- What thing(s) do you wish you had done to show your mate your love?
- What relationship(s) do you wish you had broken off to remove tension between you and your mate?
These are a few of the 26 questions you'll find on the 2021 Marriage Reflection tool (click here). Completing it only takes a few minutes, and it will help tremendously as you prepare for what's next.
I believe 2021 can be amazing for your marriage. But, it's not going to happen by accident.
Be intentional, and join the other spouses who have already begun putting together a plan for the new year.
When you look back, what do you wish you had done?
Happy New Year!
