You don't have to figure it all out

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. / Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP)
In the journey of life, we often find ourselves faced with numerous questions, uncertainties, and challenges that seem too great for us to bear. We yearn for answers and seek to understand everything that unfolds before us. However, God reminds us that we do not need to figure everything out on our own.
Instead, He invites us to seek His wisdom and trust in His sovereign plan, grounded in His unwavering faithfulness.
James 1:5 assures us that if we lack wisdom, we can ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault. When faced with perplexing situations, we have a direct line of communication with the all-knowing God. He eagerly awaits our request for wisdom and understanding. By humbly turning to Him, we open ourselves to receive His guidance, discernment, and insight into the complexities of life. As we seek His wisdom, we can also find solace in His faithfulness, knowing that He is faithful to answer our prayers and provide us with the understanding we need.
Furthermore, the psalmist reminds us in Psalm 131:1 that we should not be concerned with matters too great or lofty for us. It serves as a gentle reminder that there are aspects of life and God's plans that are beyond our comprehension. While it is natural to desire understanding, it is also important to acknowledge our limited perspective and trust in God's infinite wisdom and sovereignty. We are called to surrender our need for control and fully rely on His guidance and provision. In doing so, we can rest in the assurance of His faithfulness, knowing that He is working all things together for our good.
Trusting in God's faithfulness means recognizing that His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9). It means embracing the truth that even when we don't understand His plans, we can trust that He is faithful to His promises. His faithfulness extends beyond our comprehension and circumstances. We can trust that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6) and that He will guide us through every trial we face.
As we navigate through the uncertainties and challenges that come our way, let us cultivate a spirit of humble dependence on God. Instead of striving to have all the answers, let us seek His wisdom, asking Him for clarity and understanding. Through prayer, meditation on His Word, and seeking counsel from godly sources, we open ourselves to the transformative power of His wisdom. In this process, we can find comfort and strength in His faithfulness, knowing that He is with us every step of the way.
