Day 3 | Put Your Hope in God
Apr 12, 2023 10:01 am
Scripture: Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. (Psalm 43:5, NIV)
Reflection: Life's challenges can cause us to feel overwhelmed with mental stress and anguish, but as believers in Jesus, we have access to a living hope that can bring peace to our souls. The resurrection of Jesus Christ provides us with the assurance of eternal life and the promise of victory over death, which can calm our anxious hearts.
Prayer: Dear God, I ask that you fill my mind and heart with the hope that is available to me through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Please help me to put my trust in you, even when I am feeling downcast and disturbed. Remind me that I have access to a living hope that can bring peace to my soul. Amen.
Get into Action: Take time to reflect on the hope that is available to you through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you are struggling with mental stress and anguish, consider talking to a trusted friend or mental health professional for support.** Remember that you are not alone, and there is hope for healing and restoration.
