I was just talking to my brother, and he told me that his wife pulled his clothes out of the dryer, and dumped them into the laundry basket.

If it were me, I'd be grateful because sometimes my clothes are pulled out of the dryer, and left on the couch for the dogs chew on. 😐

But, not my brother. He likes to pull his clothes out of the dryer, and fold them immediately so they don't wrinkle.

He was upset because, as he said, "She knows how I like to do my clothes."

I told him that she cares about him, but not his process.

Maybe you should consider that this weekend when the way you like to do things is snubbed, ignored, voted against, talked about, or overruled.

Your spouse cares about you, but not your process.

And that's okay. No harm, no foul.

Don't make your mate wrong for that. After all, you probably don't care about his/her process either.
