You've been saved by Jesus' life

Even when we were God's enemies, he made peace with us, because his Son died for us. Yet something even greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, we will be saved by the life of his Son. (Romans 5:10, CEV)
This week we've looked at how Christ died for us when we were helpless, how we've been made right with God, and how he's not angry with us. I don't know about you, but this has brought me a new level of joy and assurance this week.
A member texted me this week, telling me God loves her. I want you to be able to see it for yourself:
God loves
What did that do for you?
Reading that God loves me is a great reminder about what I believe.
In today's email, I want to talk about one more thing from the sermon: we've been saved by the life of Jesus.
This salvation is not merely a past event or a one-time act. It is an ongoing process, a daily renewal of our faith and commitment. Every day, we experience the saving power of Jesus' life as we strive to emulate His teachings, seeking justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God.
In essence, being saved by the life of His Son invites us into a transformative journey. We're invited to live lives infused with purpose, gratitude, and an overwhelming sense of love, both received and given.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the unwavering love and salvation through Jesus, reminding me daily of my purpose and Your grace. As I reflect on His teachings, may I continually embrace this transformative journey with gratitude. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Reflection Questions:
1. How has your understanding of Christ's sacrifice influenced your daily actions and choices?
2. In moments of doubt, how can you draw strength from the knowledge that God loves you unconditionally?
3. How can you actively cultivate a deeper connection with God, drawing from the lessons of Jesus' life and teachings?
