I drove down a recently repaired road a couple of days ago. Actually, they're still doing a little bit of work on it, but the bulk of the repair is done. As I was riding on the even, smooth asphalt, I considered how much of a hassle it was to drive on this road when it was all ripped up.

It was dusty, uneven, and somewhat dangerous due to the narrow lanes, cones, equipment, and workers on the road.

But it was worth the trouble because now the road is repaired.

If your marriage is currently under repair, consider that the trouble, hassle, duress, difficulty, upset, unevenness, and struggle that you're going through will be worth it. It's hard to see the beauty in the midst of the pain, but it's there.

Don't give it up. Your marriage is worth the trouble.
