Have you seen those pics of people and objects with similar-looking outfits with the caption, "Who wore it better?"
Here are three good ones:
All jokes aside, followers of Jesus are given a command in Colossians 3:12 that husbands and wives can use to ask, "Who wore it better?"
Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
You should make it your goal to approach your mate with mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
This would be easy to do if your mate constantly did things your way, always supported you, and gave in to all your request. But, that's never gonna happen because you married a person, not a robot programmed to please you 24/7.
Consider how well you're doing getting dressed in these each day. Consider how much mercy, kindness, gentleness, and patience you're displaying.
The more you dress in these, the better your marriage will be.
