Folks don't see all the times I tripped up and didn't hit my goal or flopped so hard that I didn't want to get out of bed the next day. ?⁣ ⁣ I mean, they saw it. But they didn't know what they were seeing, if that makes sense. ?⁣ ⁣ ?? Mostly, folks just see me showing up. ⁣ ⁣ And to be clear, showing up is not enough. ??‍♀️ Just being in the right place at the right time and standing behind your work doesn't always mean you're going to win. ?⁣ ⁣ But if you are going to win, you do have to do those things. ??⁣ ⁣ If your goal is to always avoid failure and never look like an idiot, that's cool, I guess. ? But you probably aren't going to do anything worth writing home about. And if folks don't see you show up, they don't see you at all. ?⁣ ⁣ ? Let this post be a reminder that sometimes you gotta show up and fail in a public way. ? Let this be a realistic pep talk. ⁣ ⁣ Keep making stuff and sharing it with the world.
