Leo season is here, and it's time for your monthly tarot reading. The card for this season is strength, and before we get to the video, I wanted to give you some super quick musings on the Strength card.

The Smith Rider Waite deck is the one we're most familiar with, and it's the one I use for the monthly readings. The woman on the card has an infinity symbol over her head as she holds closed the mouth of a lion. It's a reminder that we are as strong as we believe we are.

Let's take that vibe into August.

On a sillier note, the Smith Rider Waite strength card is incredibly relatable. This woman is frustrated and dealing with what appears to be a poodle that has eaten something they shouldn't have. Every dog owner grabbed the clamped mouth of their canine companion and screamed, "DROP IT I CANNOT AFFORD A VET VISIT THIS WEEK YOU ASSHOLE STOP TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF WITH FOOD!"

On an even sillier note, here's the the strength card from the Visconti-Sforza deck. This deck was created in the fifteenth century for the Italian aristocracy. They'd all heard of lions, but the artist commissioned to make this deck had never seen one. But that doesn't matter. You're as strong as you believe you are, and you're as capable of drawing a creature you've never seen before as you believe you are. And like, a really big pug-sort of dog with a wig is a great guess.
