Libra season is here, friends.
And as the queen of the Libras (I am, they elected me, don't ask questions), I'm very excited to usher in fall and all its Halloweeny goodness.
I don't know if I'll be doing anything particularly special for the holiday this year, though I do hope the kids in my neighborhood do some trick or treating. One of my very favorite things is looking at homemade costumes and having conversations with 7-year-olds about how much they love the character they dressed up as.
It's not much, but it's what I love.
And I suppose now is the time that I tell you about how I went trick or treating until I was waaaaaay too old to do so. I'm of the mind that if you're willing to don a costume and brave the elements, then you deserve free candy.
And if you're a trick or treat purist and think it's an activity that belongs only to the youngest kids out there, then you'll be really disgusted to know that the last year I went trick or treating was 2006, and yeah. I was 21.
Only one lady made a comment about my age, and the age of my fellow compatriots. But in the end, she was glad we were there because she dumped her remaining candy into our pillow cases and thanked us for getting it out of her house so she wouldn't be tempted.
See? My Peter Pan syndrome is LITERALLY SAVING LIVES.
Or something.

And, just as a little update...I started editing the draft of the first novel in the tarot series I'm writing. I'm getting really, really excited to share more with you, but not quite yet.
