I have an upcoming book series that combines several of my favorite things--tarot, witches, a small quirky town, and a spirit guide. And since you're now on my list, you'll be the first to know when you can snag a copy.

Oh, and if you're a romance fan, I have a novella in this anthology about the witch of Kitchen Lake. It's based on a local urban legend and a bar that I used to pass on my way to work every morning. If you don't want to grab the whole anthology, the novella will be available on its own in 2023.

About Me

I'm Marisa! I live in Oklahoma City with my husband, Chris, and our dog, Rosie. I'm a Swiss Army writer, which means I kind of do it all. I write fiction, newspaper and magazine features, blog posts, nonfiction books, and pretty much anything else the occasion calls for. I'm also a tarot reader, and I send out a free tarot reading on the last Saturday of every month for the month ahead.

Here's some quick stats on me:

• I'm an unapologetic morning person.
• I drink black coffee, and perhaps in inadvisable quantities.
• I'm an unironic Fast and the Furious film franchise fan.
• Planners are my love language.
• I curse, like, a lot.

Once, in high school, I dressed up as Frodo Baggins for Halloween.
