Would you believe me if I told you I almost forgot to send this email because I was at the vet again today?
Thankfully, this visit didn't result in new stitches as the wound is only superficial. We did still spend over $200 paying for a week of antibiotics and a fancy new haircut around the injury site to avoid infection.
They say bad things come in threes, so I'm hoping this will be our last unexpected visit for the year. Peanut and Mowgli are certainly over being told they can't play while one of them heals.
So, why was it important that I remember to send out this email? For April, I have joined a romantasy newsletter promotion and the books on offer look divine. There are so many gorgeous covers it was impossible to just pick my usual four to highlight. They might just be the cure I need after finally reading Fourth Wing 🔥
