Hi ,
You wouldn't believe who rushed back to the vet last on the last day of February 🤦🏻♀️
This time it was Peanut's turn for a visit, to get a cut on his back leg stitched up. Your guess is as good as mine for how he did it this time 😅
Thankfully, this injury was in a much nicer location for healing than Mowgli's foot and Peanut had his stitches out just in time for his 5th birthday (keep scrolling to see my pups in party hats).
While Peanut was on bed rest, we went into a cyclone warning for the first time in years where I live. I'm lucky enough to be outside of the flood zones, so all this meant for me was some very wet days off from work.
Did I use those days to write? No... But I have made some progress on my current YA Urban Fantasy project. I am now finished with edits and looking into my publishing options while I write books 2 and 3.
If you've made it this far through my email, you deserve a little treat. I've joined two romantasy newsletter giveaways this March, one for the spicy readers 🌶️ and another for the clean 😇 The books only require an email to download and they're yours for FR33 😍
If you want to see what books I'm reading instead of taking a chance on something new, check out my story highlight on instagram for my 2025 reading @monicaschultzauthor 📚
As always, thank you so much for your support. I'll see you next month ❤️
Monica
