Howdy y’all! Happy 2023. I hope everyone had a great holiday and is having a great start to their new year.
My holiday was great. My boyfriend was actually off on Christmas eve, so we spent it together. First time in the almost seven years we’ve been together he’s had Christmas off.
I made a trip back to Texas for the holidays. I left on the 28th and got to my mom’s on the 29th. I stayed with her for two days then went to my best friend’s house for New Years Eve and Day. We saw an amazing fireworks show on New Years Eve and had a blast. I’m currently at my dad’s and leave in the morning to head back to Nebraska. It’s been a great trip and it feels so good to be home.
So I’m late to the party, but I’ve recently found audiobooks. They are amazing! I’m in love. I’ve just started The Summer I turned Pretty which is book one of a young adult trilogy so I can’t talk about it yet. I’m only like eight chapters in. So far it’s pretty good.
Well, that’s about it from me. I wish everyone well and I’ll see y’all next month.
