Same payout, higher premium later?

Hi [Name],
Many people think CareShield Life enhancement is something they can review later.
That sounds reasonable.
But there is one detail that is easy to miss:
The premium is based on your age when you enter.
This means the same monthly payout may cost more if you wait a few years.
For example, based on one insurer's illustration:
At age 30, a $1,700/month enhancement may cost around $600/year.
At age 35, the same $1,700/month enhancement may cost around $900/year.
Since MediSave can be used up to $600/year for CareShield Life supplement premiums, delaying may turn something that could potentially be fully paid by MediSave into something that requires cash top-up later.
So waiting may feel easier today.
But it may not be cheaper later.
This is why I encourage clients to at least understand their options early, not because they expect to need care soon, but because the cost and health conditions may be more favourable now.
If you would like, I can help you do a simple CareShield life review to check whether enhancing now makes sense.
Warm regards,
Zest
